As Madonna once sung "Go inside for your finest inspiration… your dreams will open the door” Nicole Condos is Material Girl PR.
The Melbourne based publicist and events dynamo has danced on stage with Madonna, worked with a who’s who of AAA listers and successfully managed a range of events and launches for an incredible mix of global brands.
Nicole is passionate about her work and gets just as much satisfaction getting her hands dirty on a red carpet as she does helping guide unknown people, companies or products into the spotlight- it’s something she’s been doing since 2011.
Whether Nicole is running her company Material Girl PR or onstage performing herself, she truly believes being yourself is the key to success. And in order to do that, you have to know what’s unique about you and that’s no different in business. She understands that in the high-class world of entertainment, business and bling, talking the talk isn’t enough- you have to walk the walk.
Material Girl PR pinpoints the unique flair of you or your business and then tirelessly works to promote it- captivating your audience, so they want to be a part of who you are, and growing it. Nicole has worked with a vast array of brands and clients including Australian Club Entertainment, Ed Hardy & Christian Audigier, Melbourne Careers Expo, Playboy Australasia, La Spaghettata, Watergardens Town Centre, Windmill Gardens, Rocksteady Entertainment & Star Music Records focusing on media release writing and pitching, event management, social media management, publicity campaigns and brand placement.
She’s also worked with Grammy Award winners right through to the world’s top DJs and entertainers. She’s booked and event managed the likes of Craig David, Nelly, Carl Cox, Giorgio Moroder, Kevin Hart, Boyz II Men, Common and Naughty by Nature. The opportunity in 2014 to join Australian Club Entertainment has seen a return to Nicole’s love of live events with one of Melbourne’s most prestigious and iconic venues, Trak.
Nicole’s career has also featured reporting from the Logies red carpet, hosting a daily drive radio program Greeks in the City on 3XY in Melbourne and written extensively for international Greek media outlets including Opa Magazine and Neos Kosmos. She won the 2014 Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HACCI) Award for Young Achievement, a year after tennis star Nick Kyrgios received the same accolade.
Honing in on her entrepreneurial attributes and love of her roots, in 2013 Nicole launched Candles by Nikoletta- a Mediterranean-inspired homeware range fusing her Greek and Cypriot heritage. Nicole is also an in-demand singer at both private and corporate events and can be heard each September singing the national anthem before Aussie rules footy finals right across Melbourne.
In 2016, Nicole caught the eye of the woman who has inspired her incredible work ethic since she was a little girl- Madonna. During her Rebel Heart tour in Brisbane, Madonna invited Nicole on stage and their performance made headlines across Australian TV, newspaper and radio. It reiterated to this Material Girl, that anything is possible.
Nicole is looking forward to another big year of business marketing, events and social media management with Material Girl PR, while continuing to find joy in her music and entrepreneurial projects.
