New beginnings for Material Girl PR

Writer: Material Girl PRMaterial Girl PR

The start of a new year is always a time for reflection and fresh goals- 2025 has been no different! January has been a whirlwind, with events at Trak during the holiday season keeping things crazy busy, followed by planning for the months ahead. The holiday rush was a reminder of the importance of creative, strategic events that bring people together and I’m already looking forward to continuing that momentum throughout the year.

In just the first few weeks of January I’ve had the chance to experience some truly unforgettable moments. I saw Robbie Williams perform live which was an absolute highlight. I had the privilege of attending the premiere of his new film and as if that wasn’t enough, I also attended the Australian Open, where the energy was electric! To top it all off, I was interviewed by Elegance Education about tennis etiquette. You can read the full interview here—it was a fun and insightful experience.

One of the most exciting highlights of the new year has been working with Bianca from Loan Savvy on rebranding her logo and revamping her marketing tools. It’s been an absolute joy working with her on this project. Together, we executed a photoshoot that updated her entire brand aesthetic, giving her business a fresh, polished style that aligns with her evolving vision.

This partnership sparked something for me personally—a desire to revisit and refresh the my own brand that I’ve been building since 2011. As Material Girl PR has grown and evolved both professionally and personally, it felt like the right time to do the same with my own business. I’ve been working on repositioning the Material Girl PR brand to reflect not just where I’ve been, but where I’m headed. It’s a journey of refinement, ensuring my brand speaks to the clients I work with now, while staying true to the passion and creativity that has always fueled my business.

This year has also been a big personal leap for me. I auditioned for Kayo Call Up for an opportunity to be an AFL presenter- a step that felt both exciting and nerve-wracking. Posting my audition publicly on social media was a big moment of vulnerability, but I did it! I’ve also started working with one of the best artists and mentors on the planet, Tania Doko on vocal coaching and performance mentoring, bringing some much-needed enjoyment back into my singing journey.

This year holds so much promise, and I can’t wait to share the exciting changes coming to Material Girl PR as we continue to grow and work with incredible businesses.

Here’s to new beginnings, creative energy and a fantastic football season for my beloved Geelong Cats in 2025!
